Delhi govt provides 1,330 new seats to 9 programs at IP College

NEW DELHI: Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday introduced the addition of over 1,300 new seats for 9 programs at IP College from this yr. “Although corona continues to have an effect on each day lives, there’s excellent news for college students who’ve graduated from college this yr and need to pursue larger schooling,” Sisodia introduced throughout a press convention.

“Delhi Authorities has added 1,330 new seats for 9 current programs at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha (IP) College for the educational session 2020-21,” he added.

The brand new seats shall be added to IP College affiliated schools, to 9 current programs on the undergraduate in addition to graduate stage.

“Out of those 1,330 seats, most seats have been allotted to B.tech with a complete of 630 seats,” Sisodia stated.

The extra seats for the 9 programs have been allotted to — B.Voc (20 seats), BBA (120 seats), B.com (220 seats), BA Economics (120 seats), BCA (90 seats), MBA (60 seats), Msc. Yoga (15 seats), and M.Voc (55 seats).

“The (introduction of) further seats is an effort to supply new alternatives to college students throughout an especially troublesome yr,” Sisodia stated.
