Centre okays Rs 107.42 crore grant for 28 meals processing tasks

NEW DELHI: The federal government on Saturday mentioned a grant of Rs 107.42 crore has been authorised for implementing 28 meals processing tasks unfold over 10 states which can be prone to generate jobs for practically 10,000 individuals.

“28 tasks with challenge prices of Rs 320.33 crore, supported with a grant of Rs 107.42 crore by ministry of meals processing industries (MoFPI) have been authorised beneath the CEFPPC Scheme by the IMAC,” an official assertion mentioned.
Of this, a grant of Rs 20.35 crore has been authorised for six tasks from north japanese states. These tasks are price Rs 48.87 crore, it mentioned.
The tasks will create a processing capability of 1,237 tonne each day and are unfold throughout the states of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Assam, and Manipur.
These tasks are prone to generate employment for practically 10,000 individuals, it added.
