DMK is in opposition to holding of NEET throughout Covid-19: Udhayanidhi Stalin

MADURAI: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is in opposition to holding of the NEET throughout the coronavirus pandemic, stated DMK Youth Wing Secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin on Saturday. He questioned the security of the scholars showing for the examinations.

“College students are going by means of stress as a result of NEET examination which has been scheduled by the Centre and the State authorities,” he informed ANI.

“We (DMK) are in opposition to NEET examination being held throughout coronavirus pandemic,” stated Stalin.

“The federal government is saying that they’re taking precautionary measures however what’s the assurance that the scholars wouldn’t get an an infection,” he added.

“Greater than 1 lakh college students are going to put in writing the exams. Who’s going to provide the reassurance and security of the scholars?” he requested.

NEET 2020 examination is scheduled to be held on September 13 in view of the continuing Covid-19 pandemic.
